Alpha Gam will be participating in the first round of Virginia Tech's Primary Recruitment process. This round includes a video for PNMs to watch getting to know Alpha Gam. We will then withdraw and let the existing Panhellenic sororities recruit their new member classes. Following Bid Day, we will host our own recruitment process.
Our recruitment process will include open-invite events, connection events, and an invitation-only preference round. It will conclude with our very own Bid Day celebration that the entire Virginia Tech community will be invited to attend to help us celebrate the re-founding class of our Theta Chi chapter!
Alpha Gam will not have a house on Oak Lane this year, but we will have a designated space to gather and hold events either on campus or in the Blacksburg community.
Our new members will pay $900 for their first semester as an Alpha Gam. These costs will cover all chapter events including sisterhood events, social events and more.
Yes! However, if you accept a bid from a chapter, you are ineligible to join another chapter for a year.
New members will need a cumulative GPA of a 2.7 to be eligible to join Alpha Gam.
Yes! Alpha Gam offers 13 Executive Council positions that will be elected in April! In addition, there are also many Director positions and committees to join for less involvement.
Yes! Alpha Gam will plan to host formals, date parties, sisterhood retreats, signature philanthropic events and more!
